South African Magazine – Saarie
SARIE is a very popular magazine of Africa which depicts a modern view of the world. They share typical South African stories that keep the customers feeling good and provide them with news and information about the world, through best of sources.
This renowned South African magazine wrote an exhibit in October 2009 centring on India. It talks about Mr Bedi, the heart and brain behind Eastern Sojourn, and showcases his contribution with his valuable inputs for the same.
Our Times, New Paper In South Africa
Mr Bedi came into the spotlight as he was pictured for Our Times, a South African daily editorial newspaper. His photograph relates to his presentation done on India and Nepal. His travel talk included experts about Indian history and culture, presenting the audience with mesmerising pictures of Indian architecture, colourful clothing, handmade jewellery, crafts and artefacts as well as other fascinating aspects of life in India.
Mr. Bedi also shed light on interesting itineraries he has to offer for travel in India, which help the travelers experience the flamboyant culture of India along with witnessing various architectural marvels.
Kanal Turk TV Channel, Turkey
Program Name: As Kendini Mr Bedi gave his appearance on Turkish television for the first time in 2009. The programme was called “As Kendini ” ( Program name means “as itself”) and was anchored by Ms Aydan Onder a known celebrity in the Turkish media. A total of three episodes were taped.
SABC-South Africa Broadcasting Corporation
Mr Bedi spoke to a huge audience about India as he got involved in a Radio talk in which he gave his answers in English, while the interviewer Mr Johan Rademan interviewed him in his native Afrikaan language. Mr Bedi has done four such radio talks on SABC in the last eight years.
Sky Turk TV Channel, Turkey
Program Name: Renkler Mr Bedi, for the second time in the year 2012, appeared on another platform of Turkish television in a travel-related programme called “Renkler”. Three episodes covering India were filmed again and the programme was anchored by Mr Ayhan Sicimoglu who is also a known personality in Turkey.

The tour was organised around famous golf courses of India, where Dave interacted with Mr. Bedi to learn more about the nation, its sporting culture along with facilities. Golf Resorts of the World by Daniel Fallon, is a bestseller on the most famous golf courses of the world, published in the United States of America. Featured in this book is The golf course at ITC Grand Bharat, after the recommendation of our Founder, Mr. Bedi. It was a great experience for Fallon’s associate Mr. Finn to visit the golf course and evaluate the entire premises. The tour was personally organised by Mr. Bedi and offered the team a glimpse of Indian Golf as well as Indian hospitality. The book is available worldwide for purchase in bookstores and through Amazon.com.
The Editor Of The Famous Vroueker Magazine Traveled To India
She published an extensive article on the beauty and hospitality of this nation on -15th march 2019 under the title N STOREI OOR… INDIE. It was a privilege for our founder Mr. Bedi to organise a well planned tour of India. Vroueker found a special fascination for various flowers found in India. She was mesmerised by the beauty of Taj Mahal and other marvelous archeological sights of India.
The tour was well planned as per her choice, providing her an insight to the rich cultural heritage of India. She met locals at various cities to take back stories and memories of a lifetime.

Mr. Bedi has done numerous presentations and interacted with various media bodies from all across the globe to promote the rich cultural heritage of our nation.

In a recent interview with the coveted LA POLO Magazine, Eastern Sojourns’ Managing Director Mr. Bharatdeep Bedi spoke about Camel Polo in India. This magazine has a great viewership across the globe and has been covering the sport of Polo since 2017. It was a great opportunity for Mr. Bedi to discuss Camel Polo in India, which is now only a fun activity for tourists. Eastern Sojourns offers its guests the chance to witness this thrill in a specially organized event.
