Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi and transfer to your hotel.New Delhi, India's capital city, with a thousand years of history is a city of contrasts that combines a unique ambience of the ancient and the modern. An orderly plan of wide roads lined with sturdy colonial buildings, it was established soon after the imperial capital of British India moved here from Calcutta in 1911.

DAY 02
In Delhi
After breakfast full-day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. In Old Delhi drive past Chandni Chowk- the crowded bazaar (silver street ) of old Delhi and the Red Fort- Built-in 1648, this sprawling fort of red sandstones along the river Yamuna is surrounded by a wall of about 2.4 km in circumference. It was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. This will be followed by a rickshaw ride in the lanes and by-lanes of old Delhi which also takes you through the spice market. An interesting ride is an eye-opener to many. It was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Later visit Jama Masjid (Mosque), Built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan, the Jama Masjid is the largest and one of the most magnificent mosques in India. After this visit Raj Ghat, a memorial of Mahatma Gandhi (Father of the Nation).Afternoon, sightseeing of New Delhi. Visit Qutab Minar, a soaring 73 m-high tower of victory, built-in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak immediately after the defeat of Delhi's last Hindu kingdom. The tower has five distinct stories, each marked by a projecting balcony and tapers from a 15 m diameter at the base to just 2.5 m at the top and Sikh temple (Bangla Sahib), Humanyun’s Tomb and drive past Parliament House, India Gate, President Estate.

DAY 03
In Delhi
After a leisurely breakfast, you will be transferred to the colorful market of the capital city to explore its beauty of the bazaars. It will be a mixed experience of shopping; firstly you will be transferred to the Emporium, which is a mirror setting of Handicrafts and Handlooms in the Indian art & craft scenario for over 50 years. It preserves and nurtures the rich heritage of a culture dating back to over 5000 years, unfolding a rich sage of breathtaking masterpieces by skilled artisans. Later, you will be escorted to a road whose claim to fame is the number of state-emporia that line it. The "emporia" are state government-run boutiques - one for each state of India - selling the traditional offering of the state. Furnishing and linen are common to all - but of course, there are specialties of the state. So you can get tie-and-dye fabrics at the Rajasthan emporium, sandalwood objects at the Tamil Nadu emporium and so on. Good prices and good quality.Walk on to Janpath, a market that a person must visit for purchasing trinkets, handicrafts, clothing and other ethnic souvenirs. This place is very common with the locals and the tourists alike.
Later, we will take you to "Dilli Haat" It was established to encourage arts and crafts in India. You can enjoy shopping several ethnic and classy products as well as indulge your taste buds by having several dishes and snacks in the food plaza served at reasonable rates under a single roof. Dilli Haat covers a vast area of 6 acres and it severs as a single destination to shop.

DAY 04
Delhi to Agra (Road)
Morning, we will drive to Agra (200 km / 4 hrs). Best known as the city of the world's most famous monument of love, Agra attracts thousands of tourists every day from all over the world. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel.Afternoon, we will explore the elegant Agra Fort. Also known as the Red Fort, another work of Akbar the Great built over the course of eight years (1565-1573). The high red stone monument is notable for its smooth blending of Hindu and Asian ancestral architectural styles. The fort was successively occupied by Emperors Jahangir and Shah Jahan; the latter died here, imprisoned by his son and left to gaze at the Taj Mahal he had built.
Enjoy a shopping experience in the Mughal city and witness marble inlay work at a local workshop. Agra is known the world over for its famous inlay work. The best example is the Taj Mahal, the greatest monument of love.
In this art they use various semi-precious stones like LAPIS LAZULI (Afghanistan), MALACHITE (South Africa), TURQUOISE (Iran), CORAL (Italy), CORNELIAN (India), PAUA SHELL (New Zealand) and many other stones. Then these stones are inlaid in Indian marble, black marble, Indian green marble (Baroda green), etc. They make Table tops- rectangular, octagonal, plates, boxes, trays, coaster sets, chessboards, beck gammon boards, pen holders, cardholders, ashtrays, paperweights, vases, wine cups, glass, elephants, statues and any other items.
Later, you can visit the leather market; the leather works of Agra are famous throughout India. The works have been derived from traditional practices that included producing footwear. Agra produces some of the finest leather goods in India. The leather products consist of shoes, sandals, gloves, jackets, wallets, handbags, etc. The leather works have been refined in more recent times and at present, there is a great demand of designer items.

DAY 05
Agra to Jaipur vai Fatehpur Sikri (Surface)
Morning, we will visit the Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays), one of the Seven Wonders of the World, to witness its shifting facades at sunrise. The words Taj Mahal translate as Crown Palace. As we tour this amazing monument, we will hear the story of another great Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan, who commissioned the "Taj" as a memorial to his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. With its magnificent setting on the banks of the River Yamuna, the Taj Mahal took 22 years to build and was completed in 1653. It has been called the most extravagant shrine ever built as a tribute to love.Later, we will drive towards Jaipur (240 km / 7 hrs with Fatehpur Sikri's sightseeing). En- route, we will stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the early abandoned capital of the Mughal Empire between 1570 and 1586. The great Mughal Emperor Akbar built this city to celebrate the birth of his son and future heir to the throne, Emperor Jahangir. While Akbar is believed to have been illiterate, he took great interest in the arts and architecture. Under his rule, Agra became a leading center of art, science, commerce and culture. Fatehpur Sikri is one of his masterworks. Sadly, it served as a capital for little more than a decade, and was eventually abandoned for lack of accessible water. Arrive at the "Pink City" of Jaipur. The origin of this nickname becomes immediately apparent as we enter the old city walls and greet the pink-colored buildings that rise at every turn. On arrival, check in at the hotel.

DAY 06
In Jaipur
Morning, we will start with Amber Fort and Palace. En-route we will stop to see the grand Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds. This magnificent five story structure was built with 953 windows to allow the royal ladies of the court to discretely watch grand processions along the main street without being observed.Perched on a hillside on the outskirts of town, Amber Fort and Palace was constructed in the 1590s by Maharaja Man Singh, the commander of Akbar's army, who chose the location for its highly defendable location. This is a beautiful and very well preserved structure built on four levels and surrounded by ruins. It served as the backdrop for the Mira Nair movie "Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love." Upon arrival it is customary to ride the highly decorated caparisoned elephants up to the fort, Maharaja-style. However, the elephants are licensed and highly regulated, and it is possible at a moment's notice to be informed that the daily quota has been met. In that case, we will be transferred via jeep.
Continue to the City Palace Museum, which has a priceless collection of antiques, costumes and armory of the Mughals and Rajputs including swords of different shapes and sizes with chiseled handles. It also has an art gallery which displays a collection of miniature paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia and rare astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin and Sanskrit. We will also visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory, a UNESCO World heritage site - a stone astrological and astronomical Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in the 18th century.
Later, we will visit a carpet factory; the art of carpet weaving is age old in Rajasthan and Jaipur is renowned centre of this art. There are thousands of the families in and around Jaipur who are specialized in one or another particular design and aresurviving on this artwork. The hand woven carpets of Jaipur are quite popular and collectable. Jaipur is the main centre and big hub for the Semi-precious and precious Gemstone and Jewellery. There are numerous big and small units of gemstone cutting and polishing and jewellery making. The workers working in these units are traditional artisans who have been practicing this art from generations. Along with observing the manufacturing technique you can also make purchases from these units. It ensures the quality of product and saves your time and money as well.
We will explore the local bazaars of Jaipur during our Old Jaipur tour. The bazaars between the Badi (Large) and Chhoti (Small) Chaupar (Square) in the old city of Jaipur feature some of the best photo opportunities that the city has to offer. Your guide will lead you through the labyrinth of colorful alleys where artisans make puppets, bangles, and other local handicrafts.

Jaipur to Jodhpur (Surface)

DAY 08
In Jodhpur
Jodhpur is an oasis in the arid Thar Desert and is also called the Blue city of India. Jodhpur touring begins with a visit to one of India's most imposing Forts - Mehrangarh Fort, which is a living testimony of the military might of the Rajputs. With the strategically located cannons on the walls, the fort is spread over an area of 5 km at an altitude of about 125 meters. Thousands of tourists visit this fort every year to have a glimpse of the artillery system of the Rajput warriors. A bird's eye view of the city from above the fort is fascinating. Another example of Rajput glory is the Jaswant Thada, a shrine built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant II in 1899. A story goes that Maharaja Jaswant succumbed to injuries in this place while fighting the Mughal king Jahangir. Explore the Sardar Market's colorful bazaars and shop for textiles, handicrafts and clay figurines.Shopping in Jodhpur is an exciting and rewarding experience for the visitors. It is the home place of many talented and skilled craftsmen. They include textile dyers, metal engravers and die-makers. Jodhpur still, probably, has the last of the tailors of the classic 'Jodhpur' breeches. While in Jodhpur, don't forget to buy the famous Jodhpuri Suit. It gives a royal identity to your dressing. The area also abounds with handicraft makers - potters, weavers and rug makers.

DAY 09
Jodhpur to Udaipur (Surface)
After breakfast, drive to Udaipur (260 km / 6 hrs) the famed "city of sunrise" also called the Venice of the East. En-route visit Ranakpur Jain Temples built in the 15th century; these are situated in the lovely valley of the Aravallis. Its surrounding is quiet and picturesque. Ranakpur has grand structures and beautiful sculptures. There are 1444 pillars in the temple and none of them are similar. The magic of light & shade is really awe-inspiring. DAY 10
In Udaipur
We begin our day at the City Palace, overlooking the blue waters of Lake Pichola. Maharana Udai Singh initiated construction in 1559 A.D., and it was subsequently expanded, with impressive uniformity, by several succeeding Maharanas. The palace consists of a number of beautiful courtyards and gardens. The main hall has been converted into a museum, housing opulent artifacts and original works of art.Inside the complex we will find the exquisite crystal gallery, exhibiting 19th century pieces including crystal chandeliers, tables, sofas and beds. We will continue walking towards the Jagdish Temple to study its many remarkable friezes. Lavishly built in 1651 by Maharana Jagat Singh, it is easy to understand why Jagdish is the most venerated Hindu temple in Udaipur.
Folk toys, brightly coloured garments, hand printed textiles, batiks, dyed saris, metal images, silver jewelry, and the Pichwal wall hangings are some of the things that are enough to convert anyone into an ardent shopper in the fascinating city of Udaipur. This Romantic City of Rajasthan is popular for local handicrafts, particularly for the Rajput-Mughal style miniature paintings.

Delhi to Varanasi (Flight)
Morning, transfer to the airport to board flight for Varanasi. On arrival transfer to your hotel.Afternoon, take a short excursion to Sarnath where Buddha chose to deliver his first sermon after attaining Nirvana. The only institute of its kind in the world, imparting education in the Tibetan language, was established here by the Dalai Lama in 1971. Presently located at Sarnath, the institute has a rare collection of Buddhist texts, Tibetan manuscripts and other journals. Evening, go down to the Ganges on cycle-rickshaws to witness the Aarti ceremony.

DAY 13
Varanasi to New Delhi (Flight)
Early morning, transfer to the ghats for a boat ride on the Ganges to see the sunrise and witness local people worshipping and bathing. Return to your hotel for breakfast.After breakfast, visit a saree factory. Varanasi is famous for fine silk weaving and brocades. Banarasi silk sarees are popular for rustle of silk, the sheen of pure gold and the magical weave. We will make a visit to a Silk saree-manufacturing unit where you can observe the production of fine silk sarees, interact with local artisans and shop the glittering Banarasi sarees for you and your dear ones. Varanasi is also famous for gold and silver brocades, an ancient weaving tradition of India. You can also buy beautiful brocades for dresses and home furnishings from Varanasi.
